Certus – Q's Meet A's
Does BCS license Certus?
Not at this time. If you would like to know if/when licensing is available, please contact us, and we will add you to our list for notification. Currently BCS provides full-service insurance certificate compliance management solutions, which includes the use of our proprietary software, Certus. From our experience, most organizations don't have trouble finding good software; rather, they lack trained human resources and processes required to effectively manage insurance compliance at scale. By giving our clients access to Certus, they get total transparency into the operations and auditing, without having to be involved in the day-to-day grind of corrective action and the IT related functions.
Is Certus used for more than insurance?
Yes. Certus is used to collect, verify, and store all self-reported data and facilitates other screening services, including:
- Diversity Verification
- OSHA Violation Screening
- Indemnification Agreements
- Lease Abstracts
- License Screening
- Financial Screening
- Legal Screening
- Federal Debarment Screening
How much will it cost our organization to use Certus?
Please contact us, and someone from our business development team will provide you with an accurate price quote.
Does Certus rely on OCR scanning for data input?
No. BCS does not rely on OCR scanning, utilizing human resources for data entry and/or review. Between low-quality faxes, hand-written notes, and other unforseen circumstances, we have come to learn that OCR scanning lends itself to many avoidable errors that negate the benefits of fully automating this step of the process.
